“World Famous” Guacamole
Guac is one of those things that can be either tremendous or horrendous. While we call ours “World Famous” it is really only famous in our world. But for those who have had it, they rave and there is never a bowl with leftovers.
Here is how you make it and you will need to adjust for quantity but this is our standard for 3-4 people.
Ingredients List:
2 Large Avocados
Note: (make sure they are ready but not too ready.. its about a 1 hour window)
1 Roma tomato
1/3 Sweet White onion
1 Jalapeno (you may use only 1/2 depending on spice levels)
1/2 Lime
Crushed Red Pepper
Garlic Salt
Large bowl
Masher or big spoon
Tortilla chips - don’t forget these
Time to Cut & Mix
- Slice your avocado in half and remove the pit 
- While the avocado is still in the skin, cut it into cubes 
- Dig out the avocado into a bowl 
- Dice the Roma tomato, Jalapeno and Onion, putting into the bowl - Note: leave Jalapeno seeds in if you want more spice 
- Give a few shakes of garlic salt - Approx. 1 tsp (add more for taste as needed) 
- Add a few pinches of crushed Red Pepper 
- Mash all of the ingredients together. Be sure to mash the onion and jalapeno to release their flavors 
- Mix & mash until the desired consistency is complete, but please don’t make it smooth. Add some chunk for appearence 
- Squeeze 1/2 of the lime juice into the bowl and mix up once again 
- Grab a chip and taste it. Add garlic salt if its needed for your taste.
